Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of IT & Digital Agile Delivery Lead / Senior Scrum Master located in Barcelona, Edo. The IT/Digital Agile Delivery professional will implement the agile mindset to deliver IT infrastructure and digital solutions such as: application development, networking, end users and digital projects in Venezuela BU. This position will be aligned with the corporate Agile team, whose results emphasize the use of frameworks to achieve fit-for-purpose solutions.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Facilitate the scrum events and assist teams in delivering value.
- Engage with multiple levels within the organization to influence, provide feedback and coach on agile frameworks, behaviors and mindset that support teaming, empowerment, and accelerated delivery of business value.
- Coaches employees across organizational and functional boundaries to implement a fit-for-purpose agile structure that maximizes the delivery of IT / digital solutions.
- Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
- Create and maintain dashboards and queries in ADO that makes information visible for decision making.
- Drives high performance teaming behaviors.
- Educate on concepts around team start-up, establishing working agreements, making work visible and breaking work into manageable pieces.
- Help teams to leverage agile ceremonies in a fit-for-purpose manner.
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the IT organization.
- Define process metrics to track progress and ensure a seamless communication with the stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, System Engineering or related careers.
- From 3 to 5+ years of experience applying the Agile mindset
- From 3+ years of Scrum Master, Agile Coach and/or RTE experience.
- Current professional certification in Agile (Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach) from a recognized Agile certifier.
- Experience in Digital / IT infrastructure projects
- Stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Must be highly proficient in English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Teamwork and customer service focus.
- Abiltity to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- ADO experience
- SAFe RTE Certification
- Experience working with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices.
- Experience as Release Train Engineer or Scrum of Scrum Masters.
