HR Generalist [Malaysia]


 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the HR functions of the entire organization.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and conducting interviews.

  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Support the performance management process, including conducting performance reviews and assisting with goal-setting and development plans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct HR-related training sessions for employees and managers as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR to ensure compliance and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Can speak mandarin is preferred
